What Sets Us Apart?
Oklahoma Mobile Lithotripsy Associates (OMLA), a subsidiary of Oklahoma Lithotripter Associates, has been providing mobile ESWL services to area Hospitals since 1995. Our services began with a single Dornier unit housed in a semi-tractor trailer. The unit transported the equipment to each location. With advances in technology, our units are now transported to each location in smaller vans making accessibility and scheduling much easier. OMLA currently has four units that travel daily.
OMLA sets itself apart from the typical mobile ESWL provider by providing an “on-demand” service. While most companies show up on a periodic basis and require minimum cases, OMLA provides on-demand service and will service the location as often as needed. Our typical response time is within 24-48 hours.
The Direx Compact Lithotripter
OMLA utilizes the Direx Compact Lithotripter. Developed in Israel, OMLA has discovered the Direx technology provides the most efficient treatment while minimizing breakdowns. Driving Oklahoma roads can be detrimental to the life of an ESWL unit. The Direx was manufactured to withstand the harsh environments of travel and has served OMLA and its patients well.
OMLA technologists are trained and proficient at treating kidney stones and a variety of urological procedures. All technologists are Registered Technologists (ARRT) and have been employed by OMLA for many years. OMLA meets and exceeds all JCAHO and CMS required documentation and abides by each facility’s policies and procedures for compliance and quality of care.
